Music Ministry

We have a vibrant musical arts program at Hamilton Square.

our heart and soul

You don’t really know what type of music you will experience each week in Sunday worship. Love traditional church music with an organ and hymns? You’ll hear it here. Love praise band music? We have that, too. From classical to heavy metal from blue grass to a brass ensemble, we want people to hear “their” music and meet Jesus in worship through music. Music is an important way we express our faith.

The goal of our musical arts program is to invest in people to teach them how to lead worship and then give them the chance to lead. You won’t just see professionals or adults leading worship. We have had children as young as eight leading us!

Special MUSIC Services

Christmas Cantata
Our Christmas Cantata takes place the third Sunday in Advent and narrates the story of Christ’s birth through music.

Palm Sunday Service
Our Palm Sunday Service is a Hamilton Square tradition that is not to be missed! In the style of a lessons and carols service with Scripture readings and music, each year is different. Two years ago, our music was heavy metal. This past year it was a cello and a choir.

Nights of Praise
Nights of praise are free and open to the public. We have them on four Saturdays throughout the year in the sanctuary. Past nights have included experiencing the presence of Jesus through Broadway music, CCM (Contemporary Christian Music), classical, and bluegrass/folk.
